I am Nicole Burmeister and I am the artist behind nicoleinbold.
Creativity has always been a part of me, and yet I was never much into painting when I was younger. Life has been hard recently and I was spiraling. Painting brought me back to myself in a way that therapy and coping skills couldn’t quite touch. Don’t get me wrong, I love therapy! However, once I picked up soft pastels I knew I had found my medium.
I love that with the process of painting I get to mix and match colors to build up a painting. It is with hopeful play and curiosity that I sit in front of my easel with pastels to my right. I love exploring color and composition with textures and feeling nourished when I’m done.
It is with deep sincerity that I hope my painting can bring you solace on tough days and contentment in your good.
